We are still having a lot of rain and Sunday night we had quite a storm and downpour. This is not good haying weather and the gardens are getting another drowning.
This coming week the Golden Age Club in Otter Lake is back after taking a two week break. Cards are on Tuesday night and darts on Thursday night at 7 p.m. Everyone is welcome.
Zion Lutheran Church is having their annual memorial supper and grave decoration service on Aug. 6. Watch the coming events in THE EQUITY for more information on this.
I finally have a date for my hip replacement surgery. It is not until Aug. 28 but at least I have lots of time to get ready for it. I don’t know if in six weeks I will still be walking at all as it is getting so painful.
Happy birthday to Ross Taylor on July 20, to Margaret Wilson who celebrates today and to Wally Bretzlaff on July 25.
Happy anniversary to Gail and Brock Sharpe on July 23 and also to Heather and Robert MacKechnie on July 23 as well.
Get well wishes to Irma Hill who is still in hospital. We wish her a speedy recovery.

My sister Beulah Grife is here with me this week until Friday but she will be back again soon. I will be going to her place next week for a day to work in my garden at her place. My niece Shelley was saying that the tomato plants are looking good.
I heard that Hugli’s Blueberry Farm is now open so maybe my sister and I will go next week to pick blueberries. They give me a chair and they also have a handicap zone which is nice and I enjoy picking.
