Conservative leadership review

The Equity

Dear Editor,

A few years ago I ran a small supply section for National Defence Canada. I was a contractor and I had to have secret clearance among other requirements. Can someone please justify how Pierre Poilievre can still be considered for the leadership of the federal Conservative Party when he refuses to have this certification? As well as not seeming to have any riding to represent, but that’s another story.

Also, Canada is a longtime and proud member of the Five Eyes intelligence alliance, which includes Canada, United States, Australia, New Zealand and Great Britain, where top secret clearance is a requirement.

If he remains leader, will Mr. Poilievre agree to get the secret clearance?

If not, what will happen?

Some members of his caucus should ask him. I ask respectfully, why are these facts not front page news.
