The power went off momentarily the other day and my cassette tape recorder went back to A.M. I listen to C.H.R.I. regularly. It is 99.1 F.M. Try as I might it would not change back. Giving up for a number of days, I missed listening to the music, so I tried again. No amount of button pressing worked. That’s when an idea came into my mind. Unplug it I thought, and sure enough the F.M. returned.

Sometimes when nothing works in an area of life that is causing confusion or trouble, the best thing to do is to back off. Overthinking brings stress and clogs up the mind so that there is no room left and it seems impossible. Time to stop, pray and wait. Without fail, a new idea will have a chance to germinate and bring about a solution. I’ve experienced it over and over. Stop, wait and pray.
