There is a beautiful lawn that stands out to me on my daily walk. The grass is a uniform thick green with absolutely no weeds anywhere. How they have managed to maintain it through this drought says something about their determination and effort. It has definitely been a priority.
And that is true for anything we decide is important. If something matters, we make every effort to take the steps needed for its care.
God tells us to take care of His world, but He also says that we should love Him first and our neighbour as ourselves. Making God and others a priority takes thought and time, but we are not left on our own to do so. Asking for help is a request that God will help us with, every time. Try asking.
