A note from principal Cathy Nugent

Onslow Elementary School students in grades 1-2 and 2-3 classes present school secretary Caryl McCann with a book about what she does at the school, to honour her work as part of national Administrative Professionals’ Day, which took place on Apr. 23.

A note from principal Cathy Nugent

This year, we were fortunate to welcome an incredible new member to our school family– our secretary. From the very first day, she has become an essential part of our team, supporting students, teachers, and parents with grace, compassion, and a contagious smile.

Whether she’s handing out band-aids, offering a listening ear, or simply being the friendly face that greets everyone who walks through our doors, she does it all with heart. Her dedication and calm presence keep the school running smoothly, even on the busiest of days.

We are so grateful for her hard work, her kindness, and the joy she brings to our school community every single day. Thank you for everything – you truly make a difference!
