The Bryson Recreation Association hosted a 3-pitch ball tournament over the weekend. Twelve teams made up of players from all over the region were divided into two groups with play on Friday evening and all day Saturday.

Once the preliminaries were completed, teams were once again divided based upon results. Walking away with the title for Division A were the Knights, who defeated the Hitmen in the final. In Division B, the Mansfield Blue Jays were victorious over the Expos.

“It was a very successful tournament,” said Tammy Davis, who called the games from the booth. “All teams played great ball and we were thankful to have them all support our tournament. It was a weekend of great sportsmanship and community spirit.”
