The Sûreté du Québec is calling for the public’s help to locate a missing man.

Michael Scandiffio, 57, of Gloucester (Ottawa), Ontario was last seen on October 1, around 8 p.m. in Ladysmith. He last travelled in a black 2017 Ford Escape vehicle registered BNXP701 in Ontario. He was supposed to be heading in the direction of Otter Lake at the time.

The police report said the family close to him had reason to fear for his health and safety. Scandiffio was last seen wearing blue jeans, a red jersey and a red Raptors cap.

To identify him the police released a description. He is 5 ft 11 in tall, weighs 170 lb and has brown hair and eyes.

Anyone who sees Scandiffio is asked to contact 911. In addition, any information that can help find him can be communicated, confidentially, to the Criminal Information Center of the Sûreté du Québec at 1-800- 659-4264.
