I was in the basement trying to retrieve some ribbon for a parcel. I pulled and pulled but the tangled mess . . .
seemed to get worse the more I tried. Finally, I quit. Back upstairs I trudged to get a pair of scissors. Down into the basement, I reached for the ribbon and out it came. Imagine. With one more tiny tug, I could have saved steps and frustration.
It got me thinking. It is so easy to start something we find worthwhile but if we don’t see the results we intended, we set it aside and leave it undone.
The only way to have victory, is to keep pushing through till the job is accomplished. That works for all parts of our faith too. “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” Galations 6:9
