The Homegrown Garden Centre in Quyon held its grand opening Friday night.

“There was a little bit of nerves this morning, five minutes before . . .

the doors opened, but for the most part we are just thrilled,” said the owner Lindsay Hamilton on the morning after her grand opening.

“Basically, we sell anything that people will need for their garden,” she said. “We are also connected to Mountainview Turf, which has grass seed and soil and mulch inside. So, we are now a facility that can offer quite literally everything you need for your gardens,” said Hamilton behind the counter of her new store front.

Hamilton says the garden center will be opened until the end of June or until inventory runs out.

The garden center is located at 4790 5 Concession in Quyon, just off Hwy 148.
