On Sept. 16, Santé Publique sent out a press release stating that COVID-19 vaccination sites across the Outaouais will have hours reduced and some locations will be moved or closed due to decreased demand.
Vaccinations hours at the Campbell’s Bay Recreation Centre will now be Wednesday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Increases in Regional active cases declined this week in the Outaouais as the latest data shows 238 active cases (13,425 total, 12,971 recovered) as of Sept. 20, 2021, down 25 from Sept. 13. There are 11 hospitalizations at the designated COVID-19 centre in Hull, with five people in intensive care. For the first time since the middle of June, the regional death toll rose by one to 216 as of Sept. 20.
Within the RLS Pontiac, the CISSSO listed the following cumulative numbers on Sept. 20*:
