Monday, Jan. 25, 2021 marked a year since the first case of COVID-19 emerged in Canada. We have learned a lot since the pandemic began. We are more . . .

aware of the frailties of long-term care homes and our seniors. We have appreciated that it takes everyone to make each other safe and how much we have taken things for granted.

Church services, weddings, funerals and gatherings are now viewed in forms of distancing by Zoom or other online gathering places. We miss seeing our families, our friends and acquaintances. Our every day lives have changed tremendously.

Lesson learned: love and take care of each other. I thank God for each of you and ask for his blessing.
