Residents in Luskville and the surrounding areas no longer need to venture far to get pearly white teeth.

The Centre Dentaire de Luskville opened on Oct. 15 at 1987 chemin de la Montagne and business has been going well, said head dentist Dr. Hervé Cocaud. Cocaud lived in Luskville for 15 years, and finally decided . . .

that it was time for the town to get dental services.

“I saw a house for sale on chemin de la Montagne,” Cocaud said, “It  was a little house, very well placed and I think it was time for Luskville to have a dentist office. So I decided to go ahead and open it.”

The office currently employs two dentists, Dr. Cocaud and Dr. Guy Lafrance, who closed his office in Aylmer to work in Luskville. They offer “all services that dentists offer” and are hoping to reach out to more people in the region.

Just last week, they hired a new cleaner, but are still looking for hygienists to join their team.

“We would like to hire a new hygienist. The problem for now is finding personnel, we want to complete our crew. So we need a hygienist and maybe a second assistant. [On Nov. 17] we hired a cleaner, so it’s getting better and better.”

Appointments can be booked over the phone by calling 819-684-3411. Any one interested in joining the team can call 819-665-2364.
