Last week the Municipality of Campbell’s Bay marked its first case of COVID-19 since the pandemic began. CISSSO is now reporting four active cases within the RLS Pontiac, the local service area.
Campbell’s Bay now joins . . .
the Municipalities of Fort Coulonge, Mansfield et Pontefract, L’Île du Grand Calumet and Shawville as the areas within the orange zone (MRC Pontiac) that each have five or less cases as of Monday afternoon.
The Municipality of Pontiac had a cumulative total of 22 cases, and continues to be under current red zone restrictions until at least Nov. 23.
In total, the RLS Pontiac has had 31 cases since the onset of COVID-19.
As of Monday afternoon, the Outoauais had 257 active cases (2,537 total, 2,234 recovered) and 24 hospitalizations, with no one in intensive care. The number of active cases saw a decrease, going down one from 258 last Monday.
The region also continues to deal with active outbreaks at ten CISSSO-run facilities: Résidence Cité Jardin, Hôpital de Gatineau, RPA Chartwell Monastère d’Aylmer, Centre hospitalier Pierre-Janet, RPA Chartwell Notre-Dame, CHSLD La Pietà, Hôpital de Hull, Résidence de L’ile and Résidence La Gappe.
