Hydro-Quebec is informing residents upstream of the Carillon Generating Station that the water levels of the Ottawa River will be lower until Nov. 1

Repair work is being done to the safety booms which were damaged by the floods in 2019. The station is just outside of Montreal, but the water level fluctuation could be felt as far as Gatineau. Fluctuations of 30 to 50 cm may occur, but levels will remain within operating levels. For more information, contact the Info-project line at 1 800 465-1521, ext. 6022.
