Cases in the RLS Pontiac service area continue to rise, sitting at 25 as of Monday, up from 19 last week.
The Municipality of Pontiac observed an increase in cases as it began its second week as a red zone, going from 14 to 17.

have at least four total cases. Those cases are in the Municipalities of Fort Coulonge, Mansfield et Pontefract, L’Île du Grand Calumet and Shawville.
There are 13 cases that have yet to be determined in the Outaouais, so some of those may be within the RLS Pontiac.
As of Monday afternoon, the Outaouais had 261 active cases (2,063 total, 1,767 recovered) and 17 hospitalizations, with no one in intensive care.
CISSSO’s seven-day average for daily testing continues to decrease compared to the last several weeks, sitting at 381 on Monday afternoon after going from 563 to 492 last week.
The region also continues to deal with active outbreaks at seven CISSSO-run facilities: Résidence Cité Jardin, Résidence L’Initial, CHSLD La Renaissance, Hôpital de Gatineau, Centre hospitalier Pierre-Janet, RPA Chartwell Notre-Dame and CHSLD La Pietà.
On Oct. 15, the Hauts-Bois de l’Outaouais School Service Center reported their first case of COVID-19 at École Pie XII in Maniwaki. As of Oct. 19, it is reporting a total of four cases, all of which are staff members, at the primary school.
