Thanksgiving weekend became a lot more special this year for Ron and Nancy Vellenga. Ryan Jarvis, their son-in-law to be chose Sheenboro to pop the question to their daughter Kaitlyn. The proposal took place at the top of Brennan’s Bluff. Congratulations.
The municipal dock at Fort William was removed on the weekend and safely stored. The financial contributions for the 2020 season in support of the dock will help to offset the cost to install and remove the dock, as well as enable the purchase of replacement components, like bumpers and cleats. I made a comment once that plastic docks were supposed to be maintenance free and the answer I received was “no paint only”. With the proper upkeep, the Fort William dock will be available to dock users for many years.
Keep safe.
