A Stittsville man was seriously injured in a boating accident on Sept. 16, falling out of his watercraft in the Ottawa River near chemin du Bord de l’Eau in Luskville.
The man, 35, was on his way back from the Ottawa area at approximately 5 p.m. with two friends, each on separate watercraft, when MRC des Collines police suspect he hit an object in the water.
The man’s friends called for help and residents onshore sent out a boat to assist them. Paramedics treated the man onshore and he was sent to hospital for treatment.
