Congratulations to Albert Armstrong former Mayor of Shawville as he achieved his first hole in one Monday August 17, 2020 at Dragonfly Golf Links in Renfrew, Ont. It was on the fifth hole that he used his 8 iron to launch a beautiful high shot, landing squarely on the green, rolled 20 feet and then disappeared into the hole. It was no fluke! Witnessing the drama were Wayne Park, Stu Stark and David Baker. Albert’s other golf buddies were one hole behind and heard the loud cheers. They were Bill Murray, Terry Davies, Bert Murphy and Jerry Callaghan. Submitted by Dave Baker.
