The Municipality of Shawville will be affecting repairs on our water system on Wednesday, Aug. 26 for most of the day. Please plan accordingly.

reopening this winter.

Our thoughts and prayers for the Mohr family on the loss of Stuart Erwin on Friday, Aug. 21. He was the husband of Jean. Stuart was the father of Stephen (Colleen), Kristen and step-daughter Nola (late Willie Rickhard). He was the grandfather of Samantha (Troy Griffin), Stuart, Madysen and Jordan.

Our deepest condolences to the Lafleur family on the loss of Denis on Wednesday, Aug. 19 at the age of 74. Denis was the husband of Janet Walls. He was the father of Jason (Julie-Anne) and Justin (Chelsey). He was the grandfather of Mackenzie. Denis was the brother of Maureen (Barry), Donald (Caroline) and Leonard (Linda). He was predeceased by his brothers Aldege, Kenneth and Rheal. He was the brother-in-law of Carlen Dubeau, Christine Gagnon and Donna Chafe.

Shawville still has a Farmers Market held at Ron Hodgins’ farm every Saturday starting at 8:00 a.m.
