A new storage business is slowly carving out a spot for itself along Rte. 301-S in Litchfield. Denis Doiron is in the process of building his new business Entrepôt 301 Storage Inc., which he hopes will be up and running before . . .

the end of the year.

Situated on 8.5 acres of industrial land, the space is bordered on one side by a row of modified shipping containers. Doiron said that he plans to divide the space between the containers and lean-tos to accommodate bigger boats and RVs. He added that he would add a washing station to the site in the future.

“As I go along, I’ll find out what the client wants,” he said.

Doiron has 25 years experience working in the storage industry and said the space was ideally situated close to boat launches on both sides of the Chenaux Dam.

He is currently working on putting down some crushed stone and modifying the containers to prevent condensation. Two buildings are scheduled to arrive at the site in mid-September and Doiron said he hoped to be up and running before the end of the year.
