I am also very excited for my neighbour, Shannon Purcell, as she became a grandma on July 6. Her sweet little granddaughter is named Avalyn, welcomed by Shannon’s son Ryan and his wife Randall. Congratulations to all.
Sympathies are extended to the family of Edith Gibeault as she passed away on July 6 at the age of 71.
Our thoughts and prayers are also with the Clarke and Kennedy families, as Anne Clarke passed away on July 10. Anne was one of the loveliest people I’ve had the privilege of knowing, and she will be missed by so many in our community.

I hope everyone survived that heat wave last week. It sure was hot and sticky out there. It was great to get some rain over the weekend. I know our farmers and gardeners needed it desperately.
