On Easter Saturday, I was informed that Daneen’s Senior Home in Chichester was lacking scrub gowns. Men’s shirts were quickly recycled and turned into gowns for Daneen and her workers. Erla Picard also put her sewing skills to work making a couple of gowns from shirts belonging to their deceased son. Eight years has passed since Ian left them on April 18.

Angie Retty and Bernie Hendry are still busy making masks for those in need of them.

Fr. Moyle, of the Upper Pontiac parishes, celebrated his first mass online Sunday at 10 a.m. but you could follow it throughout the day. You can also make your Sunday offering through CanadaHelps. A great way to support your church.

The much needed funds collected through the sale of the Residence Meilleur 50/50 ticket draw is on hold for the time being. We will keep you informed. Just a reminder that donations can also be made to Residence Meilleur through CanadaHelps. The website is easily accessed through the Sheenboro Municipality.

Select a road in your area and pick up all garbage from the ditches.

If you choose a road you can notify Jeanne Gleason, Joann McCann or myself. Hopefully we can have all roads adopted.

Happy earth week.

Keep safe, wear gloves and enjoy social distance.

More projects to follow in the week’s to come.
