Get well wishes go out to Tommy Marcotte who spent some time at the Montreal Hospital after a snowmobile accident near Temiscaming. He returned home on Sunday.

Belated birthday wishes go . . .

out to Stephen Sallafranque, Erla Picard, Dale Ryan, Hailey Picard, Earl Lepine and Cindy Wheeler.

Birthday greetings and best wishes go out to Iris Fleury on Feb. 17, Tim Doyle on Feb. 19, Emmett Sullivan on Feb. 21 and Kathy Kelly on Feb. 22.

Congratulations go out to two of three valuable and former hockey players, #19 Peter Sweeney and #18 Stephen Frost, who played with the Arnprior Packers from 2006 to 2010. Their numbers were retired at a special presentation on Feb. 7. These two players have strong ties to the Pontiac.

Caregiving, the challenges, the positives, planning and available resources will be given in a presentation by the Connexions Resource Centre on Feb. 20, 11:00 a.m. at Résidence Meilleur du Haut Pontiac, 111 Notre Dame, Chapeau. All are welcome: Seniors, family members, friends and the public.

The Tuesday Social Club is asking for new and gently used adult T-shirts to be made into boys’ shorts. These are then sent to the Canadian Lutheran World Relief (CLWR) warehouse in Winnipeg through Smitty’s Home Hardware free of charge. CLWR send them to missions all over the world.

The Tuesday Social Club is always happy to welcome new guests for a cup of tea and a chat. We meet from 1 to 3 p.m. on Tuesdays at Harrington Community Centre.

The 50/50 draw in aid of Residence Meilleur will take place this coming Thursday at George’s Bar. Good luck.
