Shawville

Late Saturday, November 16, the Midget B’s headed to Hull to face the Elan’s as their opponents.  Pontiac Lions Midget B’s early 2019-20 season finds them with a 1-3-4 statistic.   The Midget B’s deployed the practice lessons by moving the puck using the entire ice, utilizing the position of every player and charging the net.

The Elan’s played a fierce game and resulted in 22 minutes in penalties for them. The Elan’s could not overpower the determination and the hunger for a win that the Lion’s came to achieve.

Midget B’s took this opportunity early in the first period.  Defenseman Devin Chabot, recovered the puck in the offensive zone, who dropped it to the net for Owen Beattie to assist a precise pass to Katelyn Young who secure the first goal.  From an offensive faceoff, Dominic Woermke, snapped the second goal unassisted to the back of the net.

The Lions were pumped and driven, demonstrating control of the puck.   The second period gave the Lion’s a successful delivery on a three player pass with Katelyn Young placing her second goal assisted by both Owen Beattie and Braden Duval.  The next game for the Lions is scheduled for a rematch of skill and brawn against the Elan’s.
