Blake Dillon. He was born on Nov. 12. He shares his birthday with first-time grandma Kellie Keon and he is also a first grandchild for Dave Keon, and John and Jo-Anne Harrison. Best wishes to the whole family.

The Christmas season is quickly approaching and the calendar is starting to fill up with festive events in our area. I hear that the Quyon Lions will be holding the annual Santa Claus parade on Dec. 7 at 1 p.m., so be sure to mark down that date.
I spent this past weekend decking the halls at my house and while I know it is too early for many, I just love how my home feels when it’s decorated for Christmas. I am anxiously looking forward to all the fun the holiday season will bring.
