COVID-19 has claimed another victim, as the annual Ladysmith Sportsman’s Club’s annual awards dinner had to be called off.
Organizer Ernie Pasch said he was disappointed, but his hands were tied as he wouldn’t have been able to . . .
accommodate the more than 100 people that usually gather at the Ladysmith Hotel for the event.
Pasch said that awards would still be given out for the numerous categories of fish and game, and added that 2021 memberships are currently available at the Ladysmith Hotel.
This year’s winners were as follows:
– Largest Pike, Junior: Landen Pasch (4 lbs, 11 oz)
– Largest Pike, Men: Peter Scharf (17 lbs, 1 oz)
– Largest Pike, Woman: Lynne Kluke (10 lbs, 10 oz)
– Largest Speckled Trout, Man: Joe McCleary (2 lbs, 1 oz)
– Largest Speckled Trout, Woman: Becky Hodgins (1lb, 14 oz)
– Largest Lake Trout, Man: Joe McCleary (15 lbs, 1 oz)
– Largest Bass, Junior: Landen Pasch (2 lbs, 9 oz)
– Largest Bass, Man: Dave McDiarmid (2 lbs, 10 oz)
– Biggest Turkey, Man: Bill Leveris (22 lbs, 2 oz)
– Biggest Bull Moose, Rifle, Man: Tim Dubeau (44.5 in)
– Biggest Buck, Rifle, Man: Billy Joe Cadieux (209.6 lbs)
