Last Saturday, the Waltham R.A. held a Christmas party for the children at the Waltham Town Hall. The children did crafts, enjoyed treats and had a visit with Santa.
On Saturday evening, the Waltham Station Restaurant held its annual turkey dinner for Waltham residents. We were served a delicious turkey dinner with all the trimmings. Everyone enjoyed socializing with neighbours and friends. It really got us into the Christmas spirit. Hats off to the Waltham Station Restaurant, their staff and volunteers for all their hard work for making this evening so special.
Our heartfelt sympathy, thoughts and prayers are with Pauline Lepaine and family, of Chapeau, in the recent passing of her dearly loved sister Joanne Mary Elizabeth Souliere. She was the dearly loved wife of Tom Souliere.
We were saddened to hear of the passing of Douglas John Demers of Manotick. He was the beloved husband of Margaret (nee Peskett). Douglas was born and raised in Waltham. Our heartfelt sympathy, thoughts and prayers are with his wife Margaret, daughters Mandy, Beth, family and friends at this difficult time.
