On Saturday, a surprise birthday lunch was held at the Waltham Station. Family and friends gathered to express their love and best wish to Theresa Harkins, on the occasion of her 80th birthday. Everyone enjoyed good food, a beautiful cake and socializing. Theresa was very appreciative and thanked everyone for the lovely cards, gifts and to all of those who organized this get together.

On Sunday Sept. 14, the annual memorial gathering will be held at the little white church on Ivy Hill in Waltham. It will begin at 2:30 p.m.. The music and message will be provided by Rev. Corey Ferguson. Afterwards, a pot luck supper will be served at 4:00 p.m. at the Waltham Town Hall.
