Well, here we are in the first week of the December. This past Sunday was the first week of Advent. In the liturgical calendar, it is the four weeks that we prepare for Christmas and the birth of Christ.
This past week, Old Man winter has made its appearance with several light snowfalls covering the ground, the trees and the outdoor Christmas decorations. Once again, residents of Waltham are displaying their beautiful Christmas decorations and lights to help spread true spirit and the joy of Christmas.
This past weekend Mike, Jodi, Alex, Mikaela and Ben were here. Ben along with his hockey teammates, the Eastern Ontario Cobras took part in the Silver Stick hockey Tournament in Pembroke. Their team did not win in the tournament, but they had a great weekend.
Birthday wishes are extended to Sarah Romain, Richard Romain and to Matthew Pilon, who celebrated their birthdays on Dec. 3. We hope that you all enjoyed your special day.
