Dear Editor,
My name is Thomas Drevniok. I’m 5’8 (maybe) and have reddish blond hair. I was a registered nurse at the Pontiac Community Hospital in Shawville, Que. for over . . .
11 years. I recently made one of the most difficult decisions of my life and resigned from the hospital Sept. 1. This means I won’t be returning.
I just wanted to take this time to express my gratitude to you all. I grew up in Gatineau, Que. and moved to Shawville in June 2009. I was made to feel welcome and the thing I noticed right away about the Pontiac is that it’s never hard to find someone to help you.
My job was made so much easier because I was so motivated to work for this warm and spirited community. There are too many stories I could share. I’ll really just miss it.
I will forever be beholden to you Pontiac.
Thomas Drevniok
Shawville, Que.
