Dear Editor,

Solidarity with the citizens of Pontiac and Chelsea on the issue of tax fairness will go a long way in righting a wrong.

Why should taxpayers be burdened with the cost of maintaining essential infrastructure serving NCC properties in our communities?

We all pay our fair share of municipal taxes. We must press our elected officials to talk sense with the NCC and to promptly pay all outstanding tax amounts owed to our municipalities. The NCC paying their fair share is the minimum standard of corporate responsibility residents of Pontiac and Chelsea expect from a good neighbour.

Chelsea, Que.
