Our condolences and deepest sympathies go out to the Gagnon family of Nichabau, Que., on the passing of Valerian Gagnon on May 5, a brother to Lorney, Bertha, Jimmy and Lila Gagnon. The funeral service will take place on May 27 in his hometown of Gatineau, Que.
Our condolences also go out to the Donnelly and Lapierre families on the passing of Betty Donnelly on May 9. Her funeral service was held on May 12 at the Cathedral in Pembroke, Ont.
Get well wishes go out to Pat Bellamy of Barry, Ont. who is currently at the Pembroke Regional Hospital. He is the son-in-law of Norma Ranger.

Belated birthday greetings go out to Grace Morris Bryson who celebrated her 94th birthday on May 4, to our granddaughter Brittany who celebrated on May 8 and to our son Tim on May 9.

Marilyn Sullivan Crozin and her daughters returned home after visiting with Marcel’s family in Humboldt, Saskatchewan.
A lovely Mother’s Day brunch was served at George’s Bar in Chichester on Sunday. Thank you to Cindy Wheeler for the great idea and to all of you who volunteered your time to cook up this delicious brunch. Cindy and Gerald Wheeler are special parents to many children and we are very lucky to have them living in our community.
