Dear Editor,
I would hope that some level of government would take on the task of fixing the pavement on Route 303/Centre Street in Shawville, from the 7th line on into town. This is a major traffic route, and the pavement is horrific – downright Montreal-quality! If no local body is prepared to deal with it (and they have had many chances to do so), must we appeal to the United Nations, or perhaps set up a GoFundMe account? I know asphalt is expensive, and the labour required is even more so, but the savings in wear and tear on tires and suspensions could be significant.
