Greer reps Pontiac at Canadian fastball nationals

Matt Greer of Shawville (front row, third from left) travelled to Kitchener, Ont. for the Canadian men’s fastball championships from Aug. 27-31. He was the lone Pontiac representative on the Pembroke-area team, the Micksburg Twins, which lost in the first round of the playoffs. According to Greer this was the first time an Ottawa Valley team has attended the tournament since the 1990s.
