Hi there. My name is Sarah. I grew up in Ottawa and am getting to know the Pontiac region more and more each day.

I’m a voracious reader, dogsitter and lover of all baked goods. I earned my bachelor’s degree in international studies and my master’s in journalism, both from Carleton. When I’m not reporting, I’m working on my PhD in journalism at the University of Ottawa.

I’ll catch you around as I cover weekend events across the region. If you see me, come say hello! However, if I’m not there, I’m likely out playing ultimate frisbee. My favourite season in the Pontiac is the fall, and I’m looking forward to travelling around and meeting new people!
