We are already into the month of March, time flies by so fast.
I went to Giant Tiger this weekend and bought some seeds to plant for the garden. We are so lucky to have this store in town. I also bought some sheer curtains that were a great deal.
My granddaughter, Emily went to another cheer competition in Kingston, Ont. They had no faults and did really well. Their next competition will be in Florida. These kids sure get around. They have to do a lot of practicing during the week. Emily is going to Algonquin College to be a social worker and has been doing a placement at the new Perley Hospital for dementia patients and been offered a job for the summer. She has been working part time at McDonald’s.
It was too bad to hear about the accident between a log truck and a van on Highway 148.
The Bristol Ridge Church, is celebrating its 100th anniversary. I had a request from Brian Beattie to ask people if they have any old pictures of the church and if they could e-mail them to 2brian beattie@gmail.com or mail them to 140 McCurdy Dr., Kanata, Ont. K2A 2Z6 or call him at 613-831-1411. He is willing to pick them up if you have more than a couple of pictures.
I talked to my sister Ruth this weekend and she is doing well. Her daughter Chrissie is expecting and is be due in July.
Don’t forget to turn your clocks ahead this weekend.
The lab I work for in Arnprior, Ont. will be moving this Friday back to their location at the hospital this Friday. It has been newly renovated which will make things move along a lot faster.
