Pontiac Lions Bantam A
The Lions won their first playoff game with a 7-0 win over the Aylmer Extreme in Shawville on Saturday. Wyatt Durocher earned the shutout, with goals coming from Bryan Tubman with two and one each from Ethan Queale, Connor Gilpin, Ryan Lang, Willis Egan and Carson Rusenstrom. Assists came from Harry Lukas-Hitz with two and one each from Dakota Hudson, Ryan Lang, Hunter Lukas-Hitz and Carson Rusenstrom. Next game is in Shawville on March 11 at 7:30 p.m.
Atom A Lions
After losing their first playoff game against Loups Collines on Saturday, by a score of 3-1 they bounced back with a big win over the Gatineau Ramparts on Sunday. Scoring on Saturday was Kavanagh with Paige Dubeau assisting. Sunday scorers were Matthew Kavanagh, Pierce, Garrett and Gavin Rusenstrom. Assists came from Garrett and Gavin Rusenstrom, Matthew Kavanagh and Vincent Gilbert. Next game is March 11 at 1 p.m in Gatineau.
Novice C Lions
The Lions lost their first playoff game in Gatineau on Saturday by a score of 3-1. Jeffery Demers was the lone goal scorer.
On Sunday, they played a hard fought game against Maniwaki. Unfortunately they lost 4-3 in overtime. Goal scorers were Jeffery Demers, Colton Hines and Tristan Queale. Kudos to forward Gavin Roy who played goalie replacing Zack Brousseau who was away on vacation. Lions are coached by Josh Rebertz. Asssistants are Craig McCormack, Danny Lalonde, Jason Queale and Kyle Vereyken with Holly Lalonde as manager. The team would like to thank all of their fans for their support.
