Peewee A Lions coach JR Lefebvre had promised earlier in the season when a string of losses started to pile up, that he would sport a dress to a practice if his team would work harder to get back in the win column. Approaching the final game of the season, Lefebvre reminded the crew of the bet and they responded by netting the winning goal in the final minutes of a hard fought 4-3 win against Gatineau. Being the good sport, Lefebvre doned his mother’s dress, fulfilling his end of the bargain. If dressing up for his own teams practice wasn’t enough, he had the updraft of laughter from the Peewee C team, that share ice for practice on Feb. 13.
