I lost my house key the other day. I kept it loose in my coat pocket and of course at some point when I pulled my mitt out, out came the key. I had thought to myself a number of times, you’re going to lose that key, but I ignored the prompt in my head and it happened. Not wise.

Wisdom heeded, keeps life on an even keel. The book of Proverbs is filled with all kinds of it, one for every day of the month. How thoughtful of God. Once aware, change is the next step. It’s a hard one, but worth it.

The Lord is near to all who call to Him; a very present help in time of need.
