We were saddened to hear of the passing of Francoise Anne-Marie Sallafranque (nee Lair), of Chapeau. She was the beloved wife of the late Jerome Sallafranque. Francoise had an infectious smile that lit and warmed up a room. She was a woman of many talents and had a warm, generous heart. She welcomed everyone into her home with open arms and offered her delicious treats, baking and cooking to family and friends. She proudly displayed her beautiful crocheting, quilting and painting. Our heartfelt sympathy, thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends at this difficult time. May you RIP Francoise.
We were saddened to hear of the passing Margaret Mary Gormley (nee Harrington) of Pembroke, but most recently of Langley, BC. She was the beloved wife of the late John Francis Gormley. Margaret had worked at the Renfrew County Roman Catholic Separate School board, where my husband Larry had worked. She was a sweet woman of remarkable strength and humility, great compassion for others and a deep, devout Roman Catholic faith. She loved to cook and bake. Our heartfelt sympathy, thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends at this difficult time. May you RIP Marg.
They are calling for quite a bit of rain this week. It is badly needed.
Congratulations to all the hunters who were lucky enough to get a moose.
Have a good week everyone.
