I sure hope that everyone enjoyed the first long weekend of the summer. The mosquitoes have awoken from their winter slumber and are back with a vengeance. Hopefully, they won’t last too long.

On Wednesday, a lovely get-together and luncheon was held at the Waltham Station Restaurant in honour of Cynthia Allard-Belaire. As of June 1, Cynthia and her husband Terry are taking up residence in Ottawa. Cynthia worked tirelessly and gave some much of her time and energy on several committee’s and organizations in the Chapeau and Waltham area. Cynthia and Terry, you will be deeply missed by your family and friends. We wish you all the best, as you begin a new chapter of adventures in your lives.
