Our deepest sympathy goes out to the family and friends of Bryan Murray. He will always be remembered by hockey fans near and far.
There will be a memorial service at the Anglican Church in Otter Lake this Sunday at 3 p.m.. Following the ceremony the friends and family of the late Simon Mayhew are invited to go to the Union Cemetery to pay their respects. Potluck supper to follow at The R.A. Center.
My sister Norma has made it back from the East Coast. She made the trip all the way from Chilliwack, B.C. to the East Coast with her dog Molly. They left on May 15 and are planning to take 150 days to finish their trip to celebrate Canada’s 150th birthday.
We were at Earl and Betty Mayhew’s for a birthday party and mini family reunion on Sunday. I had to work until four so I was late getting to the party and missed seeing a few people but fortunately Norma was there for the whole day and meet everyone.
I would like to wish everyone having a birthday this week a very happy birthday.
