Last Friday, I had a quick visit with my son-in-law Carl Davidson and my grandchildren Corben and Tao and Theresa Davidson. They came for lunch but had to get back to Port Carling, Ont. because the boys had to work on Saturday morning. The grandchildren are now 14 and 15 years old and are working on weekends so it’s going be very difficult to visit with them or for them to come here. It was so much easier when they were younger but like everything else, life changes and we have to let them go.
We had a really beautiful weekend and I was able to get my lawn mowed, the garden tilled and flower beds cleaned so it was a very productive couple of days. Now the snowball trees are blossoming and so are the irises.
I would like to wish the following people a very happy birthday: Blair Frost and Raymond Larivière on June 6, Susan Hearty, Peter Normandeau, Robert Hearty, Rowan Hill and John Thomas Wrinn all on June 7, Francis Mayhew on June 9 and Karen Morin on June 11.
I would also like to send happy anniversary wishes out to Blair and Brenda Frost on June 8.
