I listened to a sermon on Psalm 13 in which King David was lamenting that he felt God wasn’t listening to His call for help. I need Your help. How long will You turn your face away?
I can relate. Some prayers seem to go unanswered, though I have prayed long and hard. Is He listening? Does God care when the problem does not go away?
David’s conclusion was a good choice. A choice we can all make. Though no answer seems forthcoming, David wrote, I trust in Your unfailing love. Trusting is the answer no matter what. When we remember God’s goodness through the years, it will cause us to sing and rejoice in spite of the storm.
