Dear Editor,

I recently subscribed to THE EQUITY after a far too long lapse. It’s like going home again.

Like so many others, I grew up in Shawville and have so many fond memories of going to Langford’s after school on Wednesdays to buy the paper. In this age of what I can only describe as “crazy, underscored”, reconnecting with the familiar names and format has brought back a sense of comfort and community. That’s something I think we’re all craving, especially now.

I really just wanted to say thank you. Thank you for preserving my little town of memories and for reminding me of what a great community is.
