On Saturday (Mar. 14), more than a dozen teams turned out to the Shawville Curling Club for the annual Liberal Bonspiel, a fundraiser for local MNA André Fortin. This was the first bonspiel hosted at the club since it got its ice back up and running earlier this month. Rick Younge said that this is the 22nd year he’s organized the event.
