Walking straight
I’ve recently had some health issues and went for help. Certain tests were done and when those results did not give the answer, I visited the chiropractor. Turns out I have been limping, compensating for a problem in my spine. That created the bigger pain which sent me in search of relief. To ensure the adjustment keeps working, I have to practice walking straighter and that is where the problem lies. Walking properly does not feel right anymore. It seems exaggerated, slows me down and feels uncomfortable.
The same thing can happen in any area in which we have become unhealthy. Bad habits become familiar. Recognizing the truth and stopping, should ensure we’ll feel great, right? In theory, yes. In reality no. Often it can be the opposite — for awhile. The key is to keep going. What seems unnatural can become a healthy normal. Persevere. It pays off.
