A wonderful group of people turned out on Saturday evening to support our local fire department. The costumes, as usual, were great and the judges agreed it wasn’t an easy job to pick the winners. The Price is Right group, the Oreo Cookie, the Mermaid and the Sailor, the Electric Chair and the single Minnie Mouse with a terrible looking face, were the winners. Most people thought that Minnie was wearing a face but apparently not, it was done by a makeup artist.
Just a reminder that Remembrance Day Service will take place at 11 a.m. in Sheen on Nov. 5.
