Family and friends attended a 25th wedding anniversary party in honour of Steven and Shannon McDonald on the weekend. The party was held at David and Kelsey’s new home in Chichester. Birthday wishes also go out to Steven on Aug. 29.

The Pontiac Tourism Association is planning on doing a series of promotional videos based on paddling throughout the Pontiac. One of the three themes planned is a day at Oiseaux Rock on Aug. 25. The filming will conclude at Fiddlers’ Night at Fort William. These volunteer musicians are great supporters of our local businesses and if you get a chance on Friday evening, stop by.
This project is a partnership between Pontiac Tourism, MRC (municipalités régionales de comté), SADC (Société d’aide au développement des collectivités) and Pontiac Ouest (municipalities of L’Isle-Aux-Allumettes, Chichester, and Sheenboro).
