We were very sorry to hear of M.J. Sullivan’s loss. His home was destroyed by a fire on Friday afternoon. He wasn’t home at the time of the fire.
Congratulations go out to Denise Gaudette of Chichester who won a household composter, one of two donated by the MRC. Composting in our municipality is a bit scary since many have had bear visits. Twenty per cent of our garbage is compost and a reduction of that percentage in our garbage pickup is necessary to maintain our rebate. Let us all try and do our best until the municipality comes up with a proper solution. Cooked food and grease in your composter will definitely attract animals.
